Jesus Left Us Peace, Power, Wisdom, And Comfort!

Friends,

Take heart and be comforted by the Holy Spirit in this unique hour of global change--nations and individuals are being aligned by the Hand of God. God's people are going to be forced to unity as well as holiness.

There are several shortages among God's people--we need to be far-sighted and not myopic in this unfolding of spent time and upheaval. God has a Plan. More than ever, we need Wisdom, Power, and Comfort.

Begin with John 14 and read through John 16. Jesus is explaining to His disciples that He is leaving them, but He is not leaving them alone,

"And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever---the Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him, but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you."--John 14: 16-18

So many of God's people are walking as orphans right now FEELING broken, hopeless, and helpless: WHY? I believe we have been contaminated by fear and a shallow root in Christ is being exposed. Let us take this opportunity to dig deeper and to be stabilized on our most Holy Faith. Jesus promised that He was not leaving us alone and that we would not be orphans before Him.

"These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My Name. He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things I said to you. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.

LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED, NEITHER LET IT BE AFRAID."--John 14:25-27 (caps mine).

Jesus told us while He was with us in the flesh that He was leaving us for a while, that He would be back to get us, and that in the interim, He was making sure we had a Comforter, Helper, Guide, and Giver of Peace working with us, in us, for us, and around us. He, like us, is in the world but not of the world.

The world hated Jesus. He was letting us know the world would hate us. The world did not know Him or the Holy Spirit. He was letting us know that our peace was not of this world, but He was engaging the Holy Spirit to care for us, to keep us, to separate us, and to reveal Him to us.

"He who hates Me, hates My Father also. If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin: but now they seen and also hated both Me and My Father. But this happened that the world might be fulfilled which is written in their law,

'They hated Me without a cause.'

But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of Truth Who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. And you also will bear witness, because you have been with Me from the beginning.....

These things I have spoken to you that you should not be made to stumble."--John 15: 22-John16:1.

Jesus wanted us to know that we would experience pressure from those that hate Him. At the same time He wanted to know that our Helper in His place would testify of Him, comfort us, empower us, and challenge the darkness as He did. He did not want us to give up or stumble when trouble for His sake came.

"Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.

However, when He, the Spirit of Truth has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His Own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said He will take of Mine and declare it to you."---John 16: 7-15

Friends, I have some simple questions: are you asking the Holy Spirit to comfort you? Are you asking Him to guide, to teach, to give you peace? Are you asking Him to fill you with His power? According to these passages the Holy Spirit will keep us from stumbling when we are opposed by the circumstances of life and those who hate Jesus.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE SAME SPIRIT WHO RAISED CHRIST FROM THE DEAD AND WHO QUICKENS OUR MORTAL BODY.

When you are without peace, power, or comfort, there is a rich supply in Him.

When you are forlorn, undone, and have no revelation, He will guide you.

Are you seeking Him specifically for these things Jesus said He would do for us in times like these? Our citizenship in Heaven has been ratified, but we are in this world for now.......besides reading John 14-16, turn your face to John 17, what Jesus prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane when He knew what He must face for us was upon Him.

"Now I am no longer with them in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You, Holy Father, keep them through Your Name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.......I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by Your Truth. Your Word is Truth.

As you have send Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the Truth."--John 17: 11, 15-19

Be comforted by The Comforter.

Be helped by The Helper.

Be guided and taught by The One Who Reveals All Things.

YOU ARE NOT ORPHANS AND ARE NOT ALONE !!!

Yesterday a faithful ministry partner, Peggy, sent me Isaiah 41: 10 -16 out of The Message Bible,

^-10"But you, Israel, are my servant.
   You're Jacob, my first choice,
   descendants of my good friend Abraham.
I pulled you in from all over the world,
   called you in from every dark corner of the earth,
Telling you, 'You're my servant, serving on my side.
   I've picked you. I haven't dropped you.'

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! This is one of my favorite Christian holidays--God so loved us that He gave His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ! Thank God for the LOVE that never fails. I became a Christian on June 24th, 1977. How I remember my first February 14th as a believer....may He comfort and fill every broken and wounded heart in Jesus Name.

I am praying for our nation. I know this sounds odd, but unless God intervenes, there will not be an election in 2012. We will be at war and the country will under martial law. This is not to incite fear in God's people, but to urge you to pray, to seek the Lord, to get your own houses in order, and to reveal Jesus to whoever the Holy Spirit brings along your path. Time is spent in so many ways. I choose to speak rather than be silent--read Ezekiel 13. Do not listen to the promises of false peace--we are courting hell with our foreign policy in the Middle East and throwing our shame openly in God's Face with our public policy at home.

I continue to be amazed that in the face of war and economic meltdown, cursing God, pushing abortion and gay marriage, and opening our gates to our enemies are the great priorities of our national leadership. Beware of a rising nationalism, patriotism, and "faith" that is neither American nor Christian--we have been given over to strong delusion. We must remember the lessons of our sister, Germany.

A false Gospel is emerging of universalism and service to the state as service to God. In the last two years, politicians and global ministries have declared there is no difference between the God of the Bible and the god of the Koran. The Jews are despised, as are true Christians. The persecution of Christians has risen dramatically world-wide.

The hatred of the Jews is like a raging fever. Once again monsters with smiling faces arise on the world scene and no one seems to take it seriously.

I know that a great Harvest is coming and with it great opposition--every believer claims to want a Church like the Body in the Book of Acts. We don't know what we ask for...we will not have a Church like the Book of Acts until the world in which we live is like First Century Rome. These things will come to pass because they are written.

People love money and love sin--they will worship whoever feeds them and gives them license to rebel against Truth. It is human nature and the Tower of Babel revisited. The greatest danger for America politically is a movement that will arise out of chaos that will be ultra-conservative financially and ultra-liberal morally. It will be bought hook, line, and sinker. Imagine a demonic year of jubilee in which everyone is declared debt free, the only requirement obedience.

This will one day be declared on a global stage.

So many things have come full circle and it is time to step out onto our most holy faith in this time of shaking. Ministry has been different since the end of 2011. I have spent much of 2012 resting like never before--insomnia was a lifetime companion. I have been sleeping and resting, which is an odd thing for me. I have two different extremes in ministry now that I find amazing--I am going to full churches of people that are eager for the things of God, most of them young and just coming out of bondage with a few older saints that have endured; the other is churches that are nearly empty with a few faithful saints there that are pressing on and worn thin.

The idols of our culture are falling, and so are the confidence and stability of many of our brethren--please stand and pray. Do not forsake the assembling of ourselves together despite disappointment, chastisements, or fears. The real Jesus is emerging along with His Unshakeable Kingdom in the midst of the shaking. In this shaking, Harvest is all around us. Be ready in season to give the Good News of the Gospel, and to extend your heart and hands in soul winning, outreach, healing, and good works to glorify Jesus.

I do believe our gracious God could allow a temporary reprieve, but for the prudent, take this as an opportunity to plan wisely as did Joseph in the face of judgment. Ask God to teach you to number your days--if this reprieve is allowed it will not be a long one.

This is a season of a great outpouring of Grace for the saints for perseverance, endurance, resiliency, and long-suffering: all the Promises of God remain through Christ Jesus and we must stand, in fact be Standard Bearers, in this hour. Persistence is a Godly attribute: do all you can to stand and then stand.

Always remember that the Church is eternal, and the most permanent institution on this planet--when all that can be shaken has to be shaken, do not see doom, but an opportunity to stand on the Foundation that is Forever. Jesus is the Rock. Heed the Call and take the time to be restored and refreshed.

We Christians are perrenials--we have a deep Root and bear harsh weather: it makes for more beautiful fruit and fewer pests. ENDURANCE AND ADAPTATION DURING THE SEASON OF CHANGE IS THE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN US (John 3:8). Some things never change. That would be God and His Promises.

It is time for our scent to change--we must become the Aroma of Jesus Christ.

I deeply appreciate the prayers of the saints for the ministry--the results are seen and felt in the meetings. God has been faithful to open new doors of ministry. I have been blessed to be able to have my dear wife travel with me as we are now (nearly) empty nesters--she has not traveled with me much since the children were small. Since 2003 we have been using two old houses to help people in need--we see this as the beginnings of our vision to expand outreach and have considered this as part of the ministry.

Glorious Light ended 2011 in the red. I also saw this in 2001 after 911--the demand for ministry was greater than ever, but giving went down. I do not push finances in my meetings and am content for the local pastors to handle the offerings, trusting God to speak to His people. I do not "advertise" my ministry. I will preach regardless and delight in going to smaller groups--if I am not humble enough to trust God by giving my gift to help get things started, I have no business preaching there when they grow.

Ministry in 2012 has been wonderful, but giving is down significantly.

I would ask you to prayerfully consider what the Lord would have you do to sow into Glorious Light--this is a serious time for us. Several of you give to the ministry regularly--we pray for all who give. We have never ask ministers to pay for our fellowship and assistance. Some churches send monthly support, most do not--this does not affect our willingness to give ourselves. Many have made promises and offers they cannot fufill because of their present circumstances--this is heartfelt and I understand the sincerity of God's people.

We feel God's love.

I feel strongly the Scripture tells us in 2 Corinthians 8 we are to give out of what we have, not out of what we do not have. This is the reason I have not put Pay Pal on my blog and do not take credit cards in services--I do not want the people of God going into debt to bless Glorious Light

Here are a few prayer requests:

A. is married to a man her Christian family does not approve of. She has been under great stress. She had been dependent on her family for a while. She has had a miscarriage. She is under great duress. Please pray for healing and deliverance to come to these people, and for all bondage to cease.

Remember L., a teen girl whose parents have divorced. She has become uncontrollable and is in danger. She has been in trouble with the law, has turned from God, and is in a relationship that is not healthy and based in criminal behavior.

Remember a widow who is seeking to continue her husband's vision--a man who was "friend" to both of them and connected with them in ministry/business has not treated her ethically since she was widowed. He is greedy. He would never have put this pressure on this sister had her husband been alive.

Remember a brother who is a new Christian--his wife is leaving him and he is seeking ministry and deliverance. He has a public service job that is dangerous and demanding.

Please pray for "J" and his wife, his wife still wanted to divorce him. Pray that God will protect "J" and cover him His blood that his wife wanted all his money will go to court this Wednesday wanted his monies plus on Feb 21st final divorce.... Very sad, because they have lovely children but she wanted divorce him and refuse to forgive him at all... Her and her mom is mean to him and mistreating him. He never never abusive his wife or anything. Just pray for him and I wanted to thank you all.

Remember a sister who is running for political office under great and wicked opposition. She has been hated and the target of witchcraft because of her landmark rulings against gay rights.

Remember Greece--Athens is under siege: do not take the spiritual significance of this lightly. Greece is the birthplace of Western Civilization. This is a part of an orquestrated financial catastrophe. Being Americans who have not been properly educated to our own history, much less world history, we do not discern the spiritual links and gateways we have to our own foundation and the rest of the world.

Remember Israel, Iran, and our own troops--war with Iran is imminent and has been for nearly 10 years. They passed the point of no return in 2005. The Iranian madman, a Hitler clone, is a dead man. This is the emergence of Ezekiel 38.

Pray that the love of the Truth will not depart from any of you or your loved ones. Do not take safety for granted. Put the Word of God above every other authority in your soul--you must lead others to the Light of Jesus in times when darkness seems all around. It is time to ask to be hidden by God and for safe passage.

May the love of God be shed abroad in your hearts.

UNCLE ARTHUR BURT IS COMING TO THE SANCTUARY OF DUBLIN, GEORGIA!

Over twenty years ago, a pastor in another city called me and told me "Uncle Burt" was going to be with them and he wanted me to come. I went and met an elderly preacher who was full of God and looked much younger than his nearly 80 years. He was a young protege' of Smith Wigglesworth.

I was priveleged to sit under Uncle Burt's ministry twice more and so wanted to attend a global gathering at his ministry headquarters in Wales last year.

Campmeeting in Vidalia, Georgia!

I am still trying to work through my e-mail difficulties--I am able to receive and send, but there is some issue with group mailings.

This Thanksgiving was a time of true thanks in the Clark household--our children were at home and we had the best time ever. It was blessed.

I am starting a Camp Meeting this Sunday, December 4th through Wednesday, December 7th, each at 7 PM, at New Life Church; 2200 Center Dr.; Vidalia, Georgia. Please get the word out for these meetings in Vidalia which are an annual event.

The following Sunday, December 11th we will start meetings at 10 AM and 6PM at Grace Temple, Highway 121 (Main Street), in Cobbtown, Georgia. The meetings will run Monday and Tuesday as well at 7 PM each night.

Keep your hope firm before the Lord during these days--it is an opportune moment in the history of mankind to remain stable and immovable in the work of the Lord.

Ministry Updates

Friends,

I appreciate your prayers during our travels—for the first time in many years, my wife is able to travel with me as we are now empty nesters. We drove 6600 miles in ministry the month of October. The Lord willing, we will be doing more of these ministry trips together. We also want to thank you for your faithful ministry support.

We will be having two Camp Meetings the first part of November:

The first will be the Fall Camp Meeting of Glorious Light Ministries this following Sunday. The meetings will be held at our home church, The Sanctuary of Dublin, located on Highway 441 South, 1.5 miles south of I-16, in Dublin, Georgia. The meetings will be Sunday night, November 6^th, at 6. The meetings Monday and Tuesday November 7th-8^th are both at 7 p.m.

There will not be a nursery provided.

Ministry Updates

Friends,

I have realized my email has probably been down for a month or so. I have been able to receive but not send and have sent out several letters that never reached any of you. If you have been receiving my letters and they stopped, please check your computer settings for group mailings, as this is my ministry mail list. I have prayed for every prayer request you have sent, but have not been able to get out to the prayer partners. My apologies.

We have been very busy getting our daughter settled in Bible school--she is loving it. We were able to have a visit with our German daughter for over a month, our exchange student from year before last--the girls are true sisters it seems. We have been delighted to have our adult son back in our lives. I covet your prayers for my family and for our children. Agree for my son's full return to the Lord.

My wife and I are "empty nesters" it seems and after nearly two decades of keeping the home fires burning, she is traveling with me again, much to my blessing. God is blessing our home church, The Sanctuary of Dublin. We have a church full of ministers who love Jesus and each other--it is a place of mentoring, freedom, and healing.

This Fall will be a busy time for us. I am traveling to Honduras September 5th-9th to minister to Christian leaders. It is my honor to be the guest of Pastor Johnny Summerall and Missionary Martha Grice, homebased at the First Assembly of God in Waycross, GA--this is a generational ministry I have been working with for nearly twenty years. We will be in intensive personal ministry to pastors and their families during the day, afternoon, and evening. Please pray with us for strongholds to be broken, relationships to be mended, refreshing and anointing to increase, and for God's perspective and vision to be imparted. Pray for the safety of our families as we travel, and for His Protection and Provision. Pray for the ministry team to flow together as one in unity with God's purposes--agree for accuracy in the Word and in the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

My wife and I have been praying about the next steps in ministry--travel will continue, along with building and assisting other ministries. We would ask for those who know our work to prayerfully consider monthly support--this would relieve us of a great deal of financial pressure. We are stepping out in a number of arenas in this season. We made a decision as a family three years ago to stay close to home until our daughter was out of highschool. We downsized all our transportation, sold the family van, etc. Now we have the need for a larger vehicle for road travel. I have also been looking at property to use as a ministry headquarter for Glorious Light Ministries, to work in tandem with other local ministries, particularly our home church, and to be a resource in the area. I need God's plan and the operation of "His peculiar works". I am also considering how to facilitate resources to not only feed and house people, but to grow food when it becomes necessary.

This is time for miracles in many arenas. I will post our schedule after my return from Honduras. We will be in Indiana and Texas the end of the month. I would ask you to pray for the Lord to order our steps. I will have regular emails back with prayer requests as soon as I can get this glitch ironed out. There is going to be Glorious Light Campmeeting November 6th-8th in Vidalia, GA at New Life with Pastor Rusty Houser.

I have been hearing the word "endurance" for the saints. Why not do a study on the word, particularly in the New Testament. This is a time for Divine Perseverance, Assistance, and Order to come into the lives of the saints. I think sometimes we forget that after we have done all to stand, we should stand. Just do all you know to do to stand in Jesus. I wonder how many of us are on the Potter's Wheel or on the Ironsmith's Anvil? I have found myself growing selectively deaf to the many voices that seem to be booming in our nation.

There is such anger and frustration--everyone is looking for a man with the answers. I preached at our home church on the spirit of antichrist at our home church on Sunday and hope to have that audio posted on here soon. There is a transference taking place in the realm of the spirit right now that is in both the Kingdom of Light, and the kingdom of darkness. Man's quest for a perfect, Christless world is becoming a global paeon. Folly has become reason and exceeding folly great wisdom.

I always get amazed at the furor that rises whenever I speak about these things. The Church has a Harvest. We also must endure a great deal of Godly adaptation--you see the greatest Glory of the Church Age is about to be poured out upon us. We are going to change and be changed into the image of Christ or Antichrist. It is that hour. The Holy Spirit will force all mankind to decide which image each will bear.

We are in a season of preparation and decision. Jesus is coming back again soon. Do not despair, but do not despise the beckon of the Holy Spirit. He wants to reveal the Risen Jesus Christ to you in such indelible measure there will be no turning back. It is for this Hour we have come--Jesus must be glorified.

Keep your peace in Him and yield to the Love that passes all understanding. He did not bring you out to abandon you at this crucial hour. Neither does He will that you abandon Him. With every temptation there is a way of escape. It is time to return to the Simplicity of our Faith in Him and to be about our Father's business. It is time to make disciples, confront darkness, and walk in the Light as He is in the Light. For the young, know your roots in the Faith and be secure in good doctrine, the basics of the Faith. For the older, we must not mourn and grieve so over the great loss in our society, but hold fast to the Truth to build for a better future, however long that will be before His return.

I would advise you to study Ezekiel 38 and 39, understanding these events are unfolding before our eyes globally. I do not believe the war prophesied here is the Final Conflict. Prepare your hearts for surrender to the Lord and His Goodness.

We have much to do--let it be a labor of love, and not such sorrow. It is good we are chosen to live in this time.
